  • Contributing to the business planning and decision making, with an appreciation of the implications on the wider Group
  • Providing technically accurate, complex legal advice to clients demonstrating a high standard of professional knowledge
  • Establishing, building and maintaining productive working relationships with clients, acting as an authority in the area of expertise, both internally and externally
  • Developing and providing a culture of service excellence within the team and jurisdiction, ensuring that the highest quality of work is achieved consistently and efficiently in all areas
  • Generating business from both new and existing clients, via effective internal and external business
  • Development activities and striving to develop the Ogier brand
  • Responsibility for the performance and development of direct reports in conjunction with the Partner
  • Providing effective leadership, drive and motivation, and project a credible image that inspires confidence
  • Encouraging teamwork at all levels to achieve personal, team and group objectives
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience with the banking & finance environment
  • Strong team and relationship building, negotiation, presentation, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to inspire and develop others
  • Ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions
  • Be results-driven with a high level of business acumen and commerciality
