The role entails providing advice on appropriate project structures to support strategic decision making and project outcomes are compliant with UNSW requirements. The position is responsible for coordinating strategic projects and initiatives aligned with implementation of the College strategies, along with documentation of planning and key performance outcomes. The position reports to the Chief of Staff.Responsibilities:Proactively contribute to UNSW Canberra's business planning and continuous improvement while maintaining discretion and initiative. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to track project progress, aligning with university targets and facilitating strategic project management advice. Additionally, support Faculty Executives in achieving operational goals, enhance community understanding of project management practices, and oversee stakeholder communications while managing staff to ensure efficient project support and risk management.Who You Are:Our ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent expertise acquired through education, training, or experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to develop comprehensive project plans and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail in deliverables.
- The ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, and influencing them towards successful outcomes.
