- Plans, executes and finalizes Information Technology (IT) projects according to strict deadlines and budgets
- Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan
- Defines the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders
- Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders, clearly and timely
- Acts as a liaison with project stakeholders ongoing
- Sets and manages the project expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracks the project milestones and deliverables
- Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results and troubleshoots problem areas
- Defines the project success criteria and disseminates them to appropriate parties
- Conducts project post-mortems and produces a recommendation report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Estimates resources needed for project goals and drafts and submits budget proposals (with subsequent changes as needed)
- Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Proactively manages the changes in project scope (including the identification of potential crises) to develop contingency plans
- Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
- A self-starting individual who possesses a four-year college degree in Information Technology or Project Management, a minimum of two years direct work experience in a project management capacity in an IT setting, and a minimum of two years’ prior management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Ability to build strong teams and oversee and prioritize several projects at once
- Knowledge and expertise of Jack Henry & Associates (JHA) core software, Visio, project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and Microsoft OS and Office Suite
- Understanding of user and customer support and leveraging help desk infrastructure
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to communicate with various business units, senior and executive management
- Knowledgeable of third party channel market and pricing
- Ability to adapt technology related services and products to LSNB business units, end users and customers
- Flexibility, professionalism and ability to work in a highly stressful environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions
- Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration are required in order to meet established deadlines
- Excellent managerial, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills are required
- Occasional travel is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
- This position reports to the Chief Information Officer
- This position does not oversee other positions
- Be at your work station ready for work by the start of each workday
- Remain at your work station, unless the needs of the job require being elsewhere, except during authorized breaks (including restroom breaks)
- Take only the time normally allowed for breaks
- Call in and notify your supervisor or another member of management if you are going to be either absent or tardy
- Alternate work arrangements such as telecommuting or working from home are not permitted by Lone Star National Bank
