Because why not do it all?WHAT TO EXPECTGates Power Transmission Spain is situated in Balsareny, approximately 40 minutes away from Barcelona. With a rich history spanning over 30 years, our facility specializes in the production of belts, contributing to a yearly output of over 15 million belt units. The majority of our production caters the Automotive Aftermarket and Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers sector (called internally Automotive First Fit or AFF), while about 5% will serve the industrial market.Working full-time from Gates P.T. Spain, you will be hired as a Warehouse Supervisor to support our Logistics department.
  • Assist the warehouse supervisor in efficiently organizing the inbound and outbound flow of materials in warehouses.
  • Coordinate and control external services, including carriers, rework companies, and material arrivals, to ensure smooth operations.
Key responsibilities (on top of the above):
  • Contribute to meeting service level objectives, minimizing back orders, optimizing transport costs, and managing inventories effectively.
  • Optimize warehouse management practices to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly reports on transport costs, inventory levels (including cycle counting), and performance scorecards (PSPs), and suggest improvement proposals. Conduct audits such as STOPs (Safety Task Observation Program) and LPAs (Layered Process Audits) as needed.
  • Maintain an organized archive of relevant documentation for easy access.
  • Support purchasing activities related to incoming materials, inventory management, and storage. In this position,
ABOUT YOU
  • A degree in Engineering, high school diploma, or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience in an automotive manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and perseverance.
  • A positive attitude and flexibility to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in warehouse organization and management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • Prior experience with SAP is highly desirable.
