- Optimize family centered care approach and demonstrate knowledge of age specific developmental needs
- Perform comprehensive patient assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of care
o Pre-procedural and Intra-procedure interventions as per the treatment plan, including but not limited to:
▪ Management of patients undergoing contrast Study procedures
▪ Venous access procedures
▪ Medication administration
▪ Skin preparation
▪ Preparing and managing patients with special procedures including but not limited to VCUG, Choanal atresia, MRE, Barriums, wallow procedures. * Patient education on discharge.Care and management of patients post anesthesia and post imaging studies by aligning to ASPAN Standards for safe and efficient patient care including but not limited to:
- Assessing and preparing patients for discharge from phase II
- Review of medication pharmacy orders
- Patient and family education, follow up and escalation
