- Contribute to projects, and potentially manage team projects: define the scope of the project, plan, execute, monitor, and control
- Prepare reports on portfolio performance and carry out internal audits for Local, Regional, and Global teams
- Ensuring business bound is aligned with divisional objectives as well as growth and profit portfolio balance
- Identifying profitable new business opportunities and to maximize conversion or strike rate of desired business
- Keeping abreast of market conditions, and trends providing feedback to team members, and act to capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Support business development by finding solutions that fit customers' needs and drive long-term quality and profitability of customer portfolio
- Responsible for implementation of the Commercial Underwriting rules in CEE
- Facilitate business development by providing the Distribution team with product solutions in the frame of Commercial Underwriting rules
- Provide training programmes on the technical aspects of the product range and Commercial Underwriting rules to the Distribution tea
- University/College degree in finance/economics/law
- Experience in an operational, commercial underwriting role in a complex, matrixed general insurance organization
- Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge, and elicit beneficial outcomes
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing resources and demands
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organization
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to optimize business value to customers by delivering high-quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base
- Ability to balance commercial interests and strict standards regarding the quality of portfolio when structuring terms, price, and conditions
- Good numeracy and business writing skills
- Good Working use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, and interest in learning our internal tools (Salesforce, IRP)
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken
