The platform is built on-top of both legacy PHP software as well as a number of different and exciting technologies including Go, modern JS and Laravel.About the RoleWe are looking for someone who can perform moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line, You will be contributing to the regular sprint and the agile ceremonies associated with it, as well as giving you the chance to impact on the shape of the development of the platform.ResponsibilitiesBuilding complex, large-scale, production-grade web apps and APIs. Architect complex features and third party integrationsCollaborating and communicating with non-technical internal stakeholders. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiencesWriting clean, well-tested, maintainable codeContributing to and directing the efforts of engineering development teams, including internal and external team members to ensure complex/advanced product features/issues are resolved according to SLA’sParticipating in code reviews and ship code on a daily basis. Participate in project scoping, resource planning, and timeline estimationRequirementsHave extensive web application development experience in an enterprise of consumer software development environmentDemonstrate experience in PHP/Go in a component based architecture. Experience integrating with back-end APIs via RESTExperience with version control, preferably Git and have a good understanding of GithubHave ability to guide technical direction within a cross-functional engineering teamDemonstrate a technical curiosity by providing an insight in technologies outside of a traditional LAMP stack.
