- Shift days: Monday through Friday, Some weekends as needed which will be OT
- Shift hours: First/Day shift, starting approx 7am
- Troubleshoots and repairs multiple electrical and mechanical systems plant wide. Work will include Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical systems.
- Reads and interprets electrical wiring diagrams, and working with PLC and Ladder drawings/diagrams.
- Modifies existing systems to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Monitors control systems and equipment performance and conducts visual inspections of human-machine interfaces.
- Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned systems. Ensures proper operations of systems and minimizes downtime. Diagnoses system problems and takes corrective actions as appropriate.
- Provides input to and utilizes Computer Maintenance Management System to maintain accurate equipment histories and capture work activities
- Understand and be proficient in application of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Works directly with in-house personnel or contracted services to ensure systems are maintained and projects are completed.
- Organizes reference materials, computer systems, manuals and prints with Engineering Department and Maintenance.
- Maintains safe working practices and conditions; participates in safety inspections and identifying and correcting hazards.
- Maintains housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices in the facility.
- Operates industrial equipment (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack) in order to safely and properly perform maintenance on machinery.

- A combination of electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Hands on experience with Packaging/Process machinery and equipment.
- Working on Motors, or other plant components.
- High School or equivalent is required. Associates degree in Electronic/Electrical Technologies is preferred, but not a MUST HAVE.
- Two years of job related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- An eye for identifying opportunities for process improvements to help save time, effort, money and improve quality/safety.
- Formal training in Allen Bradley PLCs and software (troubleshooting, programming, and interfacing)
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Technical knowledge of plant control systems.
- Strong organizational, oral and written communications skills.
