- Review and audit patient records remotely to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers via digital tools to improve documentation.
- Generate and submit detailed reports on findings and issues electronically.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and security of medical records as per HIPAA and other laws.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations relevant to remote work and apply necessary changes.
- Participate in remote quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Train and support new staff remotely on record-keeping protocols.
- Efficiently use specialized software for managing tasks.
- Experience in medical records management or clinical roles within the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and documentation standards, both locally and internationally.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of working independently.
- Strong communication skills in English, for both digital communication and virtual collaboration.
- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality in handling patient information.
- Remote Work: This is a fully remote position
- Working Hours: The role requires working during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
