We're a part of Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) the software arm of Honeywell, with a strategic focus on digitalization, sustainability and OT Cybersecurity SaaS offerings and solutions.As an Advanced V&V Engineer at Sine Honeywell, you'll drive the customer experience of our software by performing testing across our products. You'll work closely with our internal teams with a particular focus on our customer experience and use cases to ensure the product functionality remains fit for purpose. You'll be detail focused, have a strong technical background with significant product domain knowledge and experience working with key customersKey Responsibilities:
  • Identify bugs and potential problems within the software
  • Perform manual testing and run automated tests
  • Utilise domain knowledge to identify functionality remains fit for purpose and product stability
  • Respond to technical issues raised from clients and internal teams that require replication and investigation
  • Respond to Level 3 support requests that require technical investigation (i.e. replication, review of logs)
  • Analyse business requirements and assist in development of acceptance criteria (Define the definition of done)
  • Determine useability and review user experience
  • Identify test scenarios, create in-depth test plans, document progress/results and improve release flow
  • Experience with API testing to verify it fulfils expected functionality, security, performance and reliability.
  • Drive innovation and assist in streamlining testing process
  • Keep internal teams updated on beta releases, functionality, and limitations
  • Work with the Software Development team to efficiently resolve tickets and troubleshoot issues
  • Critically examine new features and improvements to ensure they meet our standards
Key Experience and Capabilities:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in a technical QA or Software Development Role, operating at a mid to senior level
  • Experience with API testing to verify it fulfils expected functionality, security, performance and reliability.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong technical mindset
  • A knack for 'breaking' software
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with a broad range web browsers, operating systems and mobile devices such as iOS (iPhone), iPad (iPadOS), Android
  • The ability to form a deep understanding of new technology quickly
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and cases
  • Thorough understanding of ticket creation and documentation
