We are looking for a Tribe Lead who will be at the head of the Corporate Functions Tribe grouping all Squads managing products AXA Partner’s Corporate Functions (Finance, Human Resource, Risk and Compliance). You will be responsible to define the Tribe’s backlog, way of working, ensuring the delivery of the Tribe’s main projects respect the Tribe’s expectations in terms of development practices, software quality, quality of service and make sure all the squads reach the expected level of excellence while controlling the Tribe budget.You will work closely with the Finance, and HR Operations teams, as well as Risk and Compliance Teams and AXA Partners’ governance bodies. They will be instrumental in leading, coordinating and delivering our IT capabilities/ ecosystem in time, budget, quality, compliance and scope.You will also participle and RFIs and RFPs when applicable to help determine the best solution for AXA Partners, as well as ensuring that the Business strategy remains aligned with the IT strategy and objectives.Activities include management of project and BAU budget, preparation for Steering Committee meetings, managing the squads form the Tribe and supporting with staffing and onboarding of new team members.The ability to invest in initiatives that align with our business strategy and provide real economic value, while respecting our IT strategy and technology choices, is a critical factor in driving our organization's ongoing business transformation. As part of this effort the role holder will need:
  • To establish strong relationships with stakeholders in our "perimeter" to understand the business challenges and opportunities.
  • To work closely with stakeholders in Finance, HR, Risk and Compliance to analyse new projects and ensure readiness for governance decisions, providing transparency of portfolio investments.
1) Set up, coordinate and facilitate the interactions inside and across functions and entities in order to secure program delivery2) Strategic alignment between IT and Business. Enabling the delivery of other dependent programs.3) Coordination of all IT teams involved within the program (local and central teams, external suppliers) to assure seamless deployment and stakeholder management.4) Coordinate workstreams and their interdependencies with other projects.5) Monitor, manage and challenge suppliers especially System Integrators’ activity, quality, cost, and time to market6) Track / monitor the efforts and variances of IT squads to highlight any variance or risk asap7) For Transformation programs, plan the design authority / controls and monitor progress.8) Oversee the Tribe’s Budget as well as Investment Portfolio with support from the Corporate Functions Portfolio ManagerQualificationsRequired profile:
  • Strong experience in project management in a global environment (
10 years) * Strong experience deploying Finance ERPs (10 years) * Experience with SAP and especially SAP S4/HANA is a plus
  • Experience in working with major ERP System Integrators & consulting firms
  • Experience managing large and complex projects with ambitious schedule commitments using Agile methologies/ frameworks
  • Experience managing large project budgets (
5 M€) * Communication skills at various levels of hierarchy / seniority levels / countries / cultures: tailor communication to varying audiences, quickly incorporate feedback and adjust accordingly
  • Comfortable leading, interfacing and driving various functional /IT teams and individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to steer groups over which they have no formal authority: Countries and region Stakeholders, Group Professional Families, Experts, Communities, etc. - in multiple countries. Able to work and get results in international teams with no hierarchical structures
  • Strategic but also practical / hands on approach to deliver concrete results and to structure the environment in the way that is necessary to drive actions
  • Stakeholder management and effectiveness working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others and leverage their skills
  • Able to support the implementation of the required governance
  • Change leadership, promote and drive profound organizational changes
  • Adapts fast to changing requirements, not afraid of unclear and ambiguous situations where you need to invent the path for success
  • Be accountable for estimates on Change Requests, User Stories, Project efforts
  • Be responsible for stability and security of the named portfolio in line with changes requested by the business.
  • Be responsible to ensure the changes are delivered in terms of quality, budget & stability for the present, medium and long terms aims of the portfolio.
  • Ensuring the Squads and product Owners deliver Tribe Work Items during Sprints
  • Push improvements to the Squads, monitor execution and performance impact
  • Lead by example with his own Squad within the tribe
  • Align the tribe’s objectives with the Business Unit’s Strategy*Align the Tribe’s strategy and practices with the global IT and Security Strategy
  • Ensure the Tribe members collaborate efficiently with Guilds and other Tribes
  • English - Fluent (French or Spanish being a plus)
