- Set, implement and monitor annual business plan goals and sales targets.
- Lead the creation of flexible solutions to attract new and potential customers.
- Research, evaluate International & local trends for future business potential.
- Represent the hotel at Road Shows, Trade Fairs, and other commercial events.
- Complete the successful pre-opening sales & marketing activities.
- Set sales strategy and positioning via a consolidated business plan that covers all key revenue earning areas of the hotel- rooms, F&B, C&B, Spa, memberships.
- Set and gain consensus on property pricing across various areas along with the revenue department and department heads in-charge.
- Ensure the online presence of the brand is robust, in keeping with visual standard guidelines and is easy for consumers to book and research the hotel.
- Ensure digital presence is in keeping with what the market requires and be aligned or ahead of global hotel online trends.
- Ensure a social media plan is devised and implemented in keeping with the ambitions of the hotel and with the aim of creating a sustainable, sincere link with the local community and brand loyalists globally.
- Continually analyze the best business practices for the hotel.
- Continually drive the sales, revenue teams to achieve the desired goals.
- Lead/coach/develop the S & M team.
- Maintain effective communication, with regular 1-2-1 and team meetings.
- Ensure each team member has clear objectives & quarterly targets set, account base/ geographical areas, sales tools, and clearly defined outcomes to be achieved.
- Ensure Jumeirah’s systems and processes enable sales colleagues to succeed.
- Any other duties may reasonably be requested by the management.
- At least five years in International Chain Luxury Hotel sales & marketing in a senior role
- International market experience and knowledge
- Multi-segment knowledge (Corporate, Groups, Leisure)
- Marketing and positioning experience
- Organized, disciplined, dedicated, loyal and a self-starter.
- Assertive but with a diplomatic approach to business.
- Must possess top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- High-level commercial & decision-making skills.
- Presentation and public speaking attributes will be a must.
