This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level and contribute to the development and growth of our global business.We are a team of 35 dedicated experts within Recombination, Fractionation, Fermentation, Fat & Protein and Global Pilot Plants driving the Technology agenda for Innovation in ARLA Foods. We explore future technologies within processes and equipment, and support with internal expertise and knowledge.How you will make an impactYou will be leading a team of 5 experts and develop & execute ambitious technology road maps within our strongholds, to ensure Arla Foods stays in the forefront within our key technologies. Our main purpose is to secure the best solutions and support to our business and farmer owners. We do that by leveraging our solutions to make the best future for both planet and health.Further you will:

Set the strategic direction for the team, aligning it with the overall business strategy and mission.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and driving innovation.
Seek and understand market trends and consumer needs to empower the team to create innovative dairy solutions.
Implement best practices, including design thinking and a consumer-centric approach, to accelerate innovation.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, engaging stakeholders and building strong relationships.
Ensure high professional standards, project prioritization, progress tracking, and documentation.

What will make you successfulYou have an advanced technical and process expertise within dairy and adjacent categories or products, you champion translation of scientific knowledge into technical projects to support the business. A strong global mindset is key as well as the ability to keep the overview of short and long term activities. Last but not least, you manage stakeholders and collaborations in a highly professional way and you proactively share results and findings with colleagues both inside and outside your own function.We imagine your +10 year experience is backed with a MSc or PhD in Dairy Science, Food Chemistry or Food Engineering and you are passionate to use your technical competencies as a leader fostering a highly innovative and creative environment. Further you have:

Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to set direction and empower the team.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and inspire both internal and external stakeholders.
Business-oriented mindset with a focus on consumer needs and market trends.
Finally, you are fluent in English both written and verbally as we work in a global environment.
