Contact the designated customer base, identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions
Negotiate with the customer in order to close profitable deals.
Promote the complete range of company's services, in order to maximise cross selling and profitability
Establish long lasting relations with customers that will ensure customer retention.
Systematically address to potential customers in order to increase market awareness
Complete all necessary daily, weekly and monthly activities in SAP/CRM and other additional ad-hoc reports, if requested
Participate in exhibitions, events and business trips
Competition knowledge
Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures, guidelines and local requirements
Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to sales team.
Actively follow-up the orders with the operation department

The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Representative will be expected to possess the following:

Bachelor or MSc degree in Business Administration/Economics/Maritime/Sales or related field
Proven working experience of 1-2 years in a similar role.

A post-graduate degree will be considered an additional asset
Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory
Proficient in MS Office and excellent knowledge of computer systems
Experience in developing indirect sales channel
Ability to analyze the market
Ability to travel
Completed military obligations (for male candidates)

Skills:

Advanced negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Self-motivated, flexible, attention to detail
