  • Contact the designated customer base, identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions
  • Negotiate with the customer in order to close profitable deals.
  • Promote the complete range of company's services, in order to maximise cross selling and profitability
  • Establish long lasting relations with customers that will ensure customer retention.
  • Systematically address to potential customers in order to increase market awareness
  • Complete all necessary daily, weekly and monthly activities in SAP/CRM and other additional ad-hoc reports, if requested
  • Participate in exhibitions, events and business trips
  • Competition knowledge
  • Handle and coordinate quotes and orders according to working procedures, guidelines and local requirements
  • Ensure highest level of quality and response time for quotes and orders
  • Actively follow up quotes with customers before they expire providing feedback to sales team.
  • Actively follow-up the orders with the operation department
The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Representative will be expected to possess the following:
  • Bachelor or MSc degree in Business Administration/Economics/Maritime/Sales or related field
  • Proven working experience of 1-2 years in a similar role.
  • A post-graduate degree will be considered an additional asset
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory
  • Proficient in MS Office and excellent knowledge of computer systems
  • Experience in developing indirect sales channel
  • Ability to analyze the market
  • Ability to travel
  • Completed military obligations (for male candidates)
Skills:
  • Advanced negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, flexible, attention to detail
