Role and Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the EOI, PQQ, SQ and ITT stages of the bid cycle
  • Working with relevant members of the team to, create and craft compelling bid responses that showcase the best that Ridge has to offer
  • Researching and gathering inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Manage bid timetable to ensure bid team members respond in line with bid plan, all deadlines are met and that all bids are compliant and commercially sound
  • Review bid document and pull together previous relevant bids, best practice answers
  • Proofing and editing colleague’s bid response documents, ensuring each document contains required information required to create a successful, winning bid and that there is sufficient focus on the quality and innovation we bring to projects
  • Work with bid team members as a community of practice to ensure a consistent quality of bids.
  • Continuously improve and enhance the standards and effectiveness of our written responses in conjunction with the bid and marketing teams.
  • Preparation of client presentations and capability statements
Experience and Skills Required
  • Significant experience of delivering quality bid submissions in a fast-paced B2B professional services environment
  • Demonstrable experience of producing and co-ordinating bid responses and draft documents
  • Experience in preparing submissions across public and private sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (A’Level or Degree level English qualification an advantage)
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office – indesign knowledge an advantage
  • Experience of working with bid portals
Qualifications
  • Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject, such as Marketing or English
  • APMP Certification an advantage
