A key part of our plan for education is to ensure children become valuable and fully-rounded members of society who treat others with respect and tolerance, regardless of background.Website:About the roleThe post holder will be responsible for the provision of counselling support to all students and therefore provide a caring and supportive environment where such concerns may be explored, thereby promoting positive mental and emotional health at The Misbourne.Candidates should be BACP accredited and educated to degree level or possess equivalent professional experience. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
-The ability to communicate effectively and to develop good relationships with staff, management and outside agencies.
-The ability to multi-task and prioritise.
-Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and autonomy.
-To be proactive and efficient in managing workload
-Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
-Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
-ICT competencyWe are an 11-18 Academy in the picturesque village of Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns. We have nearly 1100 students on roll including a successful and growing Sixth Form.
