Summary of role
- Design and development of seat trim components
- Utilize CATIA software to create and modify designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design requirements into feasible engineering solutions
- Drive the development of technical roadmaps to guide the execution of projects and achieve strategic objectives
- Create and maintain proper documentation for system tracking and program metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the development process
- Proactively identify and address technical challenges, and propose innovative solutions to optimize design and manufacturing processes
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of collaboration, agility, and bold innovation
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on seat trim components
- Proficiency in CATIA software for 3D modeling and design
- Proven track record of delivering complete instrument panels and consoles from concept to launch
- Experience developing technical roadmaps and creating documentation for system tracking and program metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
