The credit operation senior associate falls under the Investor Services Team. This role is accountable for maintaining data integrity of our credit investment data and liaising with our outside vendors (Wall Street Office) to ensure credit investment data is correct for HL’s reporting needs. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and can operate in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for managing the WSO vendor relationship
  • Review monthly WSO reporting, manage and provide support to analyst
  • Responsible for adding credit investment trades/data into WallStreetOffice Web platform.
  • Assist and managed parts of the monthly NAV reporting cycles for Evergreen funds.
  • Able to proficiently read through credit agreements and legal documents to figure out information needed to add into the Wall Street Office Web platform.
  • Responsible for high volume reconciliation of credit investments data/transactions including error corrections, documentation, and daily, monthly, and quarterly error account reconciliation.
  • Act as point of contact for the credit operation team to manage Wall Street Office Web and ClearPar platform with our internal HL teams and external administrators.
  • Able to ensure the start to end completion of executing credit investment deals through our ClearPar platform, ensuring legal documents are executed and fundings are met at time of close.
  • Become proficient at utilizing HL Technologies and generating reports and data requests out of various systems.
  • Interface with a diverse group within Hamilton Lane across various departments, including the Investment Team, Research, Reporting, Business Development, Legal and Senior Management.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:
  • College degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.).
  • 6-8 years working experience
  • Financial Services and/or private equity experience is a plus
  • Highly motivated and organized; detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize workload
  • Proactively identify challenges and offer solutions
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
