And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionRemote Monitoring and Application – this is a group of experienced engineers who are responsible for remote monitoring of automation devices, and production processes and support customer’s applications (remote maintenance). The main tasks include reducing the number of unplanned outages in production, their duration, and continuous increase in productivity on the customer side. The group provides technical support 24/7/365 and provides services, among others, for the following industries: paper, transport, mining, food and beverage, metal, and pharmaceutical.In this role you will:
  • Providing technical support to customers as well as engineers, technicians, and product specialists who diagnose and solve technical problems arising from customers.
  • Monitoring the emerging alerts on the client side and taking appropriate actions to eliminate them.
  • Reporting emerging design errors and problems related to maintenance to the engineering group.
  • Possible involvement in developing applications, testing, and installing them at the customer's site and conducting training.
  • Possible participation in the implementation and commissioning of the contracted installations.
  • Broadening knowledge and perfecting specialist skills.
Requirements:
  • Technical education (preferred fields: automation, power electronics, electrical mechatronics, or related).
  • Experience in the industrial automation industry, including technical support, solving customer problems, and designing automation systems.
  • Competence in programming, diagnosing, and configuring PLC controllers.
  • Knowledge of drive technology.
▪ ability to configure and diagnose frequency converters (inverters) supported by knowledge of the theoretical foundations of their operation and construction.▪ knowledge of AC induction motors, and DC motors.▪ familiarity with servo drives will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley products.
  • Knowledge of industrial sensors.
  • Very good command of English and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Capability to work effectively in stressful situations and under time pressure.
  • Ability to set priorities correctly.
  • An additional advantage will be the experience acquired during the commission.
  • Willingness to shift work, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
