- Create, develop account and relationship at all levels in the customer organization including C-Level.
- Articulates solution business value to customers and leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs whilst coordinating the involvement of all necessary departments.
- Demonstrate understanding of the customer's business priorities and initiatives. Discuss relevant trends and priorities integrating industry knowledge and solution knowledge.
- Gain complete understanding of current usage of AspenTech HAT software applications, white space, and competitive software usage within the Account.
- Ability to challenge customers’ current way of doing business to drive results.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota with exceptional forecast predictability.
- Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development and sales progression/velocity.
- Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources.
- Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, and operational usage of SalesForce.com.
- Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success.
- Work as a team leader and member collaboratively on sales engagements involving global account opportunities.
- Develop and nurture C Level relationships at assigned customers, with the intention of having referenceable customers and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Demonstrated track record in successful direct sales of software solutions, with documented over achievement of sales quotas over multiple years.
- Demonstrated Agile approach and reactivity with customers.
- Extensive experience selling to customers in the Upstream Industry
- Experience leading multi-million-dollar sales campaigns.
- Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.
- Excellent written, oral communication skills with impressive professional gravitas.
- Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
- Engineer or relevant technical University degree (knowledge in Upstream and Subsurface), albeit experience is equally important.
- Travel is expected 50% of time.
