As they continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager with a strong focus on tax and accounting to join the team.Position Overview:As the Finance Manager you will have a focus on tax and accounting, and will play a crucial role in managing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will work closely with the broader finance team to streamline accounting processes, optimise tax strategies, and support the company's financial growth and success.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax optimisation and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support the annual audit process and respond to any tax inquiries or assessments.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders within the organisation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAS, ICAEW)
  • Proven experience in tax accounting
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
