- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax optimisation and risk mitigation.
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support the annual audit process and respond to any tax inquiries or assessments.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management to support decision-making and business planning.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders within the organisation.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAS, ICAEW)
- Proven experience in tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
