They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets. By providing technical support and management resources the Associate ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.Responsibilities & QualificationsKey Accountabilities· Provides the Management Team with staff performance criteria and information on all design staff· Meets regularly with all team members to identify issues and put action plans in place· Provides workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysisregarding prospective unsecured projects (integrating efforts of the Marketing Team)· Keeps Deltek up to date· Recommend distribution of new work based on staff availability as established by the teamworkload requirements· Represents Introba at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders· Company representative at related association meetings, plus dealing with city, provincial andfederal officials· Train staff in all phases of design process to ensure continuation of technical design operation when absent from the office or when staff is on vacation· Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction· Effect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service, products and systems to meet client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position· Instil culture of quality amongst design team members and ensures that the quality control function is effectively performed· Utilize the quality assurance and control programs in the company· Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents· Effect studies to determine cause, effect and corrective actions required to remedy deviations impairing desired standardsQualifications and Experience· 6+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control systems· Project management experience in consulting engineering· Demonstrated leadership abilities· University degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical Engineering· Professional Engineer (PEng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or EIT designations are highly preferred· LEED® Accredited professional designation is desiredAdditional Information#LI-HybridIntroba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $95,000 - $110,000 annually for this position and local market.
