Senior CAD / CAM Design EngineerI am recruiting for a Senior CAD/CAM Design Engineer for my Client based in Oldham.Working for a sheet metal engineering subcontractor with electrical and mechanical assembly facilities, you will be operating from a 120,000 sq ft state of the art factory.My Client is seeking an enthusiastic person to join the CAD / CAM department, someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and likes to be challenged.The role will include liaising with customers/staff to produce manufacturing Solidworks drawings for general sheet metal projects for both Retail & Lighting sectors of the business.It will also involve planning parts/assemblies to create BOM's and quotations.The candidate will also be expected to create parts for CAM.Candidate Requirements:· Sheet metal knowledge· 10 years experience is mandatory· Lighting product knowledge -5 years experience is beneficial· Retail fabrication knowledge 5 years experience would be a bonus· Must be proficient in Solidworks CAM software experience (Radan or Amada preferred)· Great work ethic & attitude· Excellent spoken & written English· Engineering qualifications would be beneficialSalary£37,500 to £45,000 per year OTE (experience dependent)Signing Bonus of £1000 will be paid after 6 months’ probationHours of Work (2 patterns available)39 hours per week (Office Based)Monday – Thursday (0745 – 1800)Monday – Friday (0800 – 1700 Monday – Thursday & 0800 – 1300 Friday)
