Tax Consultant

• Prepare provisional tax computation, including tax provision schedules and reconciliations for timely submission of annual tax returns and tax estimates.
• Liaise with tax adviser on tax compliance matters and collate information for tax advice.
• Provide support and advice on all tax matters (direct and indirect tax) for the Company.
• Implement tax advice received and address tax concerns raised
• Attend to direct and indirect tax audits, in co-ordination with tax adviser, if any
• Keep updated with the new regulations and budget announcements, evaluate the potential tax implications and update internal stakeholders whenever required
• Identify and improve tax processes.
• Ensure vendor debit teamwork with other departments to deliver timely, accurate, and informative reports
• Prepare & review balance sheet reconciliation and recommend adjustment
• Participate in regional operational excellence projects
• Harmonise shared service center and country Finance operations
• Provide support to CFO and finance manager in other finance functions, including, treasury, statutory audit and budgeting.
• Take the initiative to work with other departments to deliver timely and informative reports.
• Ad hoc duties as may arise from time to time.
