- Sourcing and resourcing of new and existing products and services to meet company requirements
- Working closely with the Supply chain Manager to resolve any supply chain issues and maintain availability
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost saving opportunities and process enhancements.
- Delivery of the company Purchasng strategy
- Maintaining/gaining required product accreditations and certifications
- Delivery of the Purchasing Kpi`s
- Implement sustainable and socially responsible strategic sourcing practices, including supporting local suppliers and supporting ethical sourcing.
- Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluation and issue resolution
- Accurate and timely maintenance of the Purchasing data base
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to management.
- Keep updated re regulatory requirements and ensure compliance to applicable laws and regulations.
- Own the profitabilty and growth of your catagories , collaborating with sales and operations
- Collaborate with internal stake holders to understand their requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly
- Keeping the company updated re Market trends and Innovation
- Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably requested by the site management team.
- Oversee the tender process, including sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Demonstrable success in purchasing and supply chain management with experience across an International supplier base
- Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.

- CIPS qualified or actively working towards membership is a plus
