Sofidel's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets to 2030 have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to well-below 2°C, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.PURPOSETo contribute in the implementation of the company's sustainability strategy, monitor and report on its ESG performance, engaging with stakeholders of all the companies of the Group.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contributes in the development of the company's sustainability strategy and policies and monitors its implementation to guide the Group in achieving sustainability goals.
  • Monitors and reports on the company's environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance, targets and impact
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability issues and initiatives
  • Support the line manager identifying and managing sustainability risks and opportunities
  • Collects and processes ESG data from the different sites of the Group for the periodic sustainability reporting
  • Maintaining carbon accounting for the 3 main reporting purposes (Scope 1, 2 and 3) according to GHG Protocol principles.
  • Ensures the integrated report follows the International Integrated Reporting Framework and other relevant standards and guidelines
  • Coordinates the drafting and the issue of the annual Integrated Report that present the company's economic, social and environmental performance and impact

  • Works with external auditors to verify the data and information in the integrated report
  • Conducts materiality analysis and selects the most important topics and indicators for the integrated report
  • Support the line manager in drafting the corporate sustainability plan, including the target setting for carbon reduction ambitions.
  • Fills out the customer surveys on ESG matters, liaising with the different Group department
  • Processes data and coordinates the Group participation to the ESG ratings
  • Carries out analysis and study of product LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) projects.
  • Supports the line manager staying abreast of new ESG legislation and determining how it impacts the organization
  • Helps the line manager measuring the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives and targets and identifying areas for improvement
  • Works across different departments to integrate sustainability into all business processes
  • Drives innovation and best practices in sustainability across the company
  • Promotes a safety, quality and environment - bound corporate culture
  • Applies the Corporate Principles and Values
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in enviaronmental sciences, engineering or similar;
  • At least 3 years experience in ESG reporting, environment and carbon accounting, product life cycle assessment and ESG corporate rating;
  • Good English knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint...), SAP of other workflow database and LCA software tools (Simapro of others).
