Specialist, Inventory Control - 1st Shift

- Process paperwork for potential contract carriers; perform billing and data entry tasks for multiple locations
- Communicate with customers to advise them on shipment delays and/or other information necessary to complete orders; process changes and/or cancellations to delivery orders
- Assist with monitoring the progress of delivery routes throughout the U.S. and Canada; track returned products and short shipments
- Support the dispatch of contract carriers operating 6-7 days per week, including entering orders, editing, routing, scheduling, managing changes and updating all systems properly
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Prepare billing, invoicing and settlements in a timely and accurate manner
- 1 year of related work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations
- Ability to handle stressful situations, including handling a high volume of phone calls, technical problems and changes in departmental priorities or procedures
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
