- Solicits and develops strong consultative relationships with customers throughout the region in order to sell combined services
- Respond to customer RFQ’s
- Actively manage ALL quote opportunities in SAP
- Provide customers with technical support and solutions (tooling, molded parts, etc…)
- Manage the details of upcoming jobs to ensure that tools are ready to move through the process when they arrive at the facility
- Supports accurate forecasting
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly confident with the ability to interact with all levels and personalities
- Responsible, with an owner’s mentality
- Ability to manage several priorities with tool shops, Tier 1 suppliers, molders
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to influence through effective communications (presentations, written and verbal communications)
- Proficient in MS Office products, internet navigation
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of injection molding, tool/mold shops, auto industry preferred
- Intermediate English, spoken and written
- Ability to travel as needed
Bachelor’s degree with major in business, sales/marketing or related field required with 3+ years in a technical sales/sales engineer role (automotive tool/mold shop and/or injection molding strongly preferred). May consider lesser degree with equivalent experience.
