Then this might be the opportunity for you…About the roleOur client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their Engineering Team, and to be involved in planning and managing a programme of mechanical and mixed trades Minor New Works projects.Benefits you'll get

What you'll do
  • Assist the company's technical authority by providing leadership and guidance on Mechanical matters to senior management and other engineering disciplines.
  • Lead the management and inspection of Static Equipment, including pipelines, tanks, vessels, and associated equipment.
  • Serve as an EMMUA 159 / API 653 Tank Assessor for all facilities managed by the company.
  • Plan and manage the Engineering Projects & Mechanical tasks programme in accordance with company standards and UK / European legislation such as ATEX, PLSG, API, EEMUA, etc.
  • Create Mechanical scopes of work for concept, FEED, and detailed design stages.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with other members of the Asset Technical Team on standards & codes.
  • Produce detailed programme of works & charts.
What you'll need
  • Engineering degree or HNC/HND with relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of COMAH and CDM regulations.
  • Previous experience in managing multiple site works.
