Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.We're looking for a dedicated Senior Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working cross-functionally to ensure smooth payroll operations as we scale Phorest further.In this role, you will be responsible for payroll processing in conjunction with outsourced payroll providers, ensuring timely payment of tax liabilities across all jurisdictions and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our current processes. The role is based in Ireland, ideally in the Dublin commuter area and reports to the Finance Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Administrator to not only leverage their expertise but also to spearhead the next phase of their career by leading critical payroll processes and contributing to the strategic direction of the payroll department.What You Will DoProcess payroll for employees across multiple regions, including the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia and the DACH region.Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.Administer and monitor payroll functions to ensure timely execution of payrollCollaborate with external payroll providers. Reviewing and validating submissions.Liaise with the People and Finance teams to align payroll processing with overall people operations and financial management strategies.Stay current with payroll systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.Provide detailed reports on payroll matters to management and auditing bodies as required.Enhance payroll processes by implementing best practices in payroll administration.Engage with employees and managers to address payroll-related queries and provide outstanding service to ensure a smooth payroll experience.Develop and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.Manage and administer the company's share options and oversee the general cap table management to ensure accuracy and compliance.What you bringA minimum of 5 years' experience in managing payroll in a fast-paced, multinational environment.IPASS qualification is essential; CIPP qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.Proven expertise in international payroll, including familiarity with diverse payroll regulations.Strong command of payroll management software and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.Experienced in collaborating with outsourced payroll providers to ensure seamless payroll operations.Thorough understanding of employment taxes, social security, and employee benefits such as bike-to-work schemes, pensions, health insurance, and maternity leave.Proficient with numbers and adept at managing detailed, accurate record-keeping.Up-to-date knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Strong communication skills, capable of addressing queries effectively from both employees and management.Independent and proactive, with a keen ability to identify and implement improvements in the payroll process.A collaborative team player committed to building strong relationships across the organisation.Detail-oriented with a firm commitment to maintaining high standards of data privacy.Benefits🧘Your wellbeing is important to us - we provide private healthcare, 2 Wellness Days, an employee assistance program and a free online GP service.💰As part of our Financial Wellbeing, we provide competitive Compensation, an Employee Share Purchase Scheme, Pension, Life Assurance, and Income Protection.🚵🏿 We help you travel by providing a bike to work scheme as well as tax saver transport tickets.🦸‍♀️We support the women who work in Phorest by offering 2 weeks leave for Fertility Treatment, Pregnancy Loss and Menopause.🍼We care for your family and provide Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Benefits.🌳We grow our own timber!
