- Development of concepts for radar systems in the field of monopulse tracking as well as digital beamforming
- Further development of multi-channel integrated radar systems in the X- and K-band
- Development of detection methods for UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) using scan radar systems
- Development of tracking algorithms for UAVs using tracking radar systems
- Collaboration on interdisciplinary projects within the university and with external partners to promote the state of radar technology
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentation of results at national and international conferences
- Support in the supervision of bachelor's and master's theses in the field of radar technology
- The successful candidate must have a completed master's degree in mechatronics, electronics and information technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Knowledge in the field of high-frequency technology, ideally radar technology and signal processing
- Programming skills in Python/Matlab or C++ with experience in the real-time implementation of complex algorithm
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent English skills (English proficiency level C1). German skills are desirable
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
