SEN Teaching AssistantCover People are currently recruiting for an SEN TA for a full-time role in a Primary School in South Manchester from March 2024.The RoleA primary school in South Manchester is currently looking for a SENTA to provide support both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with ASD and challenging behaviour. The role will be to support a child’s learning and social and emotional needs working on a 1-2-1 basis.The candidate must have:
  • 6 months experience working with children
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
The SchoolThe school is in a deprived area of South Manchester with high levels of SEN and EAL. Whilst the children’s behaviour is challenging the school are working hard to support the wellbeing of the children and running family support services to help improve the lives of the families in the local community.
