Job Description:Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to sell products for the manufacturer to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, showroom, or customer's place of business. We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of sales growth in the demountable partitions' community selling DEKO interior partitions. An energetic and highly motivated individual who has trust-based relationships architects/contractors/owners rep while penetrating new markets.Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building a customer base for repeat business in the sales territory, building long-term relationships with them, and securing orders.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining valued customer relationships and meeting sales and profit goals.
  • Works with inside personnel and management on negotiating and securing orders with accounts, following up on estimates, etc.
  • Responsible for submitting sales plans along with individual customer projections and strategies.
  • Must research and be aware of competitive market conditions in territory and in the country overall.
  • Quoting projects for customers and/or coordinates quotes with the estimating department; ability to take off materials from architectural drawings and proceed with estimating.
  • Analyzing customer requests and ensuring appropriate actions are taken promptly within the business, liaising with manufacturing, planning, and quality as necessary.
  • Organizing online meetings to facilitate efficient collaboration between the customer and the company when required.
  • Responding to the marketplace by providing value through being a knowledgeable rep with quick follow-up. Answering phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Managing day-to-day contact with buyers and other customer representatives.
  • Assists in receiving payment or obtaining credit authorization.
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas.

  • Exercises independent judgment and initiative and possesses excellent analytical skills with a strong technical knowledge base to discuss client needs and make recommendations.
  • Computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Highly organized and able to maintain Project Files including all drawings, correspondence, quotations, and customer communications.
  • An enthusiastic and motivated learner who can keep up with rapid innovation and assimilate new information.

Job Qualifications
Education:
  • Requires BS/BA degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Experience:
  • Five or more years related experience and/or sales in the construction industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in sales, customer service and/or estimating also preferred.
Skills:

  • Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop, for extended periods of time creating, composing and reviewing documents and spreadsheets.
  • Able to operate office equipment, including telephone, mobile phone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner and calculator.
