- Draft, review and negotiate technology contracts of all types and other legal documents, including SaaS agreements, DPAs, BAAs, Security Addenda, Referral/Reseller/VAR/Strategic Partnership Agreements and Vendor contracts; many of these agreements are on client or partner paper, and we often negotiate terms with clients on conference calls.
- Collaborate with internal business clients and cross functional stakeholders, including Sales, Support, Professional Services, Security, Finance, People Team, and OrderOps.
- Create/update playbooks, revise legal templates, mentor other legal and contract professionals on the team, and create robust legal collaboration processes.
- Work asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team.
- You are a member of the bar in at least one U.S. State, have at least 10 years of combined law firm and in-house legal department experience and have been negotiating sell-side B2B SaaS Agreements, DPAs and partnership agreements with Fortune 500 clients for at least 5 years, preferably in-house at a B2B tech company.
- You have a great sense of business, balancing risk and communicating well with the legal team as well as good at building relationships with non-lawyers (especially with Sales, Professional Services, Security, Finance, Deal Desk and Infrastructure teams) and are used to employees of all levels coming to you for advice.

- You are proficient with Google Docs, Gmail, Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, Salesforce, CLM and other Legal Ops tools, and Slack.

You excel at influencing others using reasonableness and the law.
- You understand that learning the business, its products, and risks involved are imperative to being successful in this role, and you seek out opportunities to gain a better understanding of our data transformation products. You are not afraid to ask “stupid” questions, introduce yourself and learn from engineers and product teams, and develop relationships with these teams.
- You have experience mentoring more junior team members and generally enjoy training and empowering others with knowledge. You enjoy creating playbooks and self-service tools (e.g. intranet pages) for coworkers to reference, and improving internal legal processes.
