[What the role is]Lecturer (Medical Biotechnology)[What you will be working on]The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the teaching of subjects related to any of the following areas: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Blood Banking, Histopathology, and Clinical Cardiology. The responsibilities include the following:

Conduct lectures, tutorials, practicals and assessments in full-time and part-time courses.
Plan, implement, review and improve lesson plans regularly.
Provide feedback and consultative input in curriculum design, contents, and assessments.
Develop curriculum/subjects and teaching/laboratory facilities relevant to the industries.
Support course administration and coordination of subjects/programmes.
Mentor students in character development and career readiness.
Provide pastoral care for students.
Supervise students in research projects.
Perform other related duties as required.

[What we are looking for]

Qualification in biomedical, biological science, life science or relevant field.
At least 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience in clinical laboratories (Immunology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Banking, Cytology, Molecular Biology) / heart clinics (Echocardiography, 2D imaging, M-mode, and colour Doppler, Invasive Procedures).
Skills in the use of digitalisation and Generative AI in clinical laboratories is a plus.
Passionate in teaching and mentoring students.
Keen to be involved in applied and multi-disciplinary research/industry projects.
Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables.
