Lecturer (Medical Biotechnology)

- Conduct lectures, tutorials, practicals and assessments in full-time and part-time courses.
- Plan, implement, review and improve lesson plans regularly.
- Provide feedback and consultative input in curriculum design, contents, and assessments.
- Develop curriculum/subjects and teaching/laboratory facilities relevant to the industries.
- Support course administration and coordination of subjects/programmes.
- Mentor students in character development and career readiness.
- Provide pastoral care for students.
- Supervise students in research projects.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Qualification in biomedical, biological science, life science or relevant field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience in clinical laboratories (Immunology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Banking, Cytology, Molecular Biology) / heart clinics (Echocardiography, 2D imaging, M-mode, and colour Doppler, Invasive Procedures).
- Skills in the use of digitalisation and Generative AI in clinical laboratories is a plus.
- Passionate in teaching and mentoring students.
- Keen to be involved in applied and multi-disciplinary research/industry projects.
- Resourceful and able to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables.
