- Planning and execution of PD assays on clinical patient blood-derived samples, including biochemical assays and immunophenotyping, i.e. MSD, ELISA, flow cytometry
- Development and validation of new assays as molecules move towards first in human (FIH) studies
- Biological sample banking, including isolation of serum, plasma or nucleic acids from human blood samples
- Clinical sample database management, including routine accessioning and record-keeping pertaining to barcoded patient samples
- Working with a team of PD scientists and other researchers to complete daily routine laboratory work and integration of results to ensure consistent and timely delivery of high-quality data
- Collaborating, contributing ideas and coordinating with other research groups, such as Biology, as potential therapies move from compound characterization to clinical development
- Analyzing, interpreting and effectively communicating scientific results in a coherent and timely manner
- Contributing during lab meetings and assisting in the analysis and reporting of experimental data to project teams
- PhD degree with 0+ years experience or MSc with 5+ years experience in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or related field, preferably in an industry setting. Title and salary is commensurate with experience.
- Proven laboratory and analysis skills with precision, including experience with common cell biology techniques and 96-well plate assays such as ELISA/MSD
- Exceptional precision, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment to deliver on time-sensitive objectives
- An aptitude for critical thinking, process optimization, and assay development
