The office has recently trebled in size and moved into a new fitted out space in the Colmore Building.Department DescriptionThe Creative Services team sits within Corporate Communications and provides a combination of template-driven and customized designs for a wide range of marketing and other materials used to support the firm's business development, internal communications, and responsible business practices. The team is comprised of in-house designers and account professionals who work closely with a roster of preferred agencies and freelancers. They collectively act as guardians of the firm's brand and manage the Creative Hub, a digital asset management system (DAM) with a comprehensive library of images, templates, and resources that are accessible globally.Role OverviewThe Creative Services Asset Coordinator is a six month contract position, specifically needed to support with auditing, organizing, and editing our 18,000+ photo library in conjunction with a rebrand. This role will work closely with the global Creative Team and liaise with key stakeholders in Marketing & Business Development. Specifically:
  • Review all current images against the new brand guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations as to what can be kept, edited or deleted.
  • Organize the images into folders that can be reviewed by the Creative Services team and others.
  • Edit selected images in Photoshop with gradient filters, shifting color hues, etc.
  • Audit our current set of icons and assist with editing them to bring them on brand, as well as searches to find new.
The new brand is more digital focused, incorporating movement to our illustrations and icons when used in videos, presentations and social media posts. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of motion graphics and the ability to animate simple illustrations for the team.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Audit and edit our image library, so that it conforms to the new brand.
  • Create a stock set of icons in the new brand.
  • Implement movement of icons and simple illustrations across various platforms.
  • Be a brand ambassador in a time of change.
Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services.All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program.Person SpecificationSkills & Experience
  • Experience of working in a similar role in a professional services environment, or agency/in-house studio.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in Adobe photoshop with knowledge in After Effects, Adobe illustrator and Indesign.
  • Experience in working on both a MAC and PC.
  • Sound knowledge of motion graphics across various media.
  • Design agency background or proven experience within a professional services environment, in a similar role.
  • A good appreciation of the principles of business development and marketing, along with experience in design.
