This is a drive in, drive out role based in Kwinana. The is a full time drive in/drive out project role based on site in Kwinana on a 5:2 roster, the project is scheduled for completion in late 2024.The RoleWe require an experienced QC Inspector to support the Quality Manager on site. Duties will include the following:

Review of project quality documentation including, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Weld Procedures, Project Specifications, and drawings.
Perform weld inspections, before and after welding.
consumables, essential variables, and size/shape of welding are compliant with the approved weld procedures, standards, and drawings.
Ensure weld traceability is maintained on all weldments.
Quality release of all compliant weldments and sign out of all associated ITP activities.
Working to the quality management system procedures and work instructions
Flange management / bolt tensioning inspections.
Undertake Mechanical inspections.
Overseeing non-destructive testing, qualification records.
Maintain accurate paperwork and records. To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

About YouTo be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar project site-based role.
Current recognised International Welding Inspector qualifications or CSWIP3.1 or equivalent
NACE qualification desirable
Mechanical Knowledge desirable
Knowledge of Australian / ASME standards relating to structural steel, pipe, and welding
Experienced and familiar with ISO and AS/NZS weld symbols.
Strong welding knowledge
Mechanical knowledge is also highly regarded.
Trade or tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline
An ability to liaise at all levels with the Client and Subcontractors and ability to work as part of a team.
Self-discipline and work ethic to operate efficiently within a team or autonomously.
Solid communication skills to work through issues and negotiate win/win outcomes.
