The Accountant, Financial Planning and Budget plays a pivotal role in managing the university's financial planning and budgeting as well as in helping senior leaders make informed decisions in the effective allocation of resources. As a member of the Finance team and reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Budget, the Accountant collaborates cross-functionally to provide financial services, budget planning and other related processes in support of academic and administrative leaders. The Accountant acts as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of departments and provides comprehensive strategic and operational advice, guidance, and support in all facets of strategic resource planning in alignment with the university's mission, vision and values. In addition, their financial reports, forecasts, analytical reports, budgets, and variances will be essential in monitoring fund expenditures and financial reporting.What TRU has to offer you
The salary range for this position is $73,908 - $96,263, supplemented by a competitive total compensation package.
