SKF is a truly global company with a presence in more than 130 countries, employing over 40,000 colleagues and serving an extensive range of industries and customers worldwide.In 2020 SKF established a Finance Operations Center in Poznań, supporting group companies in finance, accounting, and tax functions.We are currently looking for an RTR Accountant to join our current team:As part of the RtR team, you will:

prepare and post journal entries for IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g. intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)
reconcile balance sheet accounts
analyze financial statement figures and variances
respond in an effective and timely manner to all Business Partners' inquiries concerning your area of responsibilities
drive standardization and improvements of accounting processes
prepare Intrastat and VAT reports
participate in internal and external audits

Ideally, you will bring with you:

university graduate with at least 2-3 years of work experience in accounting/finance area

Very good English ( at least B2), German would be an asset
broad knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (especially IFRS)
nice to have experience in the preparation of VAT reports for EU companies
computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications (with a particular focus on Excel). Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset
results and action-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills
pragmatic & logical thinking with an eye for detail and an analytical mind
flexibility, especially in month/year-end closing
strong organizational and time management skills
