- prepare and post journal entries for IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g. intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)
- reconcile balance sheet accounts
- analyze financial statement figures and variances
- respond in an effective and timely manner to all Business Partners' inquiries concerning your area of responsibilities
- drive standardization and improvements of accounting processes
- prepare Intrastat and VAT reports
- participate in internal and external audits
- university graduate with at least 2-3 years of work experience in accounting/finance area
- Very good English ( at least B2), German would be an asset
- broad knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (especially IFRS)
- nice to have experience in the preparation of VAT reports for EU companies
- computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications (with a particular focus on Excel). Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset
