Role: UK Corporate Business Development - Deposits and Syndication DeskLocation: Agile with offices in London, Belfast and ManchesterThis role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office).Do you want to join a dynamic Corporate Banking team delivering strong growth across the UK?
  • Corporate Banking is a key strategic focus for AIB UK, and an area with strong growth ambitions across our chosen sectors
. * We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Syndicate Desk.We're looking for someone who can:
  • Support the origination and on-boarding of new to bank relationships within the chosen sectors to deliver significant well managed balance sheet growth primarily through syndicated and club deals.
  • Role holders will be responsible for supporting the opportunities presented to drive new business activity in the Syndication market alongside a focus to build our deposit book.
  • They will act as a professional representative of the Bank the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to at all times, thereby enhancing the Bank's image and growing it's professional contact / introducer base.
  • Ideally you will already have some expertise and knowledge of syndicated transactions as well as exposure to large complex transactions and lending structures.
You will need to show us that you have:
  • Credit/Lending experience with good analytical skills and attention to detail, experience in deal structuring (covenants and conditions), ideally in Corporate Lending.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and accounting.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the bank
  • Team player with demonstrated initiative and commercial acumen
