A school in Warrington is looking for an English teacher to join the teaching staff. The required applicant will hold QTS, and will preferably be educated to degree level in English or a related subject. The required applicant will have previous experience in delivering both English Literature and English Language lessons within a secondary school environment. This position presents itself as the ideal opportunity for a teacher who:

Can competently deliver the school’s syllabus for the subject, as governed by exam board AQA.
Can implement their own unique strategies within the classroom, to ensure that students remain engaged throughout.
Wants the chance to work within a school ranked as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and one that has been praised for making consistent improvements.
Is able to effectively deliver the school’s curriculum, as well as work with students on both an individual and group basis.
Is able to manage behaviour expectations in line with school policy, as well as work to the recommendations made by the school’s last Ofsted inspection.
Can offer differentiation in learning to meet the needs of all students within the classroom, including those with SEN, and those students requiring EAL support.

The role start date is after the Easter break and there is the potential for a full-time position based on performance.The school’s location in Warrington means it is easily accessible for those potential applicants living in Wigan.
