Senior Electrical Engineer (Department Head) - This position oversees electrical engineering efforts and is responsible for the quality assurance of all aspects of the engineering process. The Senior Electrical Engineer must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license and significant experience in designing, constructing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment for healthcare, institutional building, high-rise buildings, and aviation projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate engineers, providing leadership and technical support.
  • Develop engineering plans and technical specifications for electrical systems.
  • Prepare electrical drawings, diagrams, and scopes of work for projects.
  • Develop and monitor electrical engineering budgets.
  • Inspect and test existing electrical systems and equipment for safety and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Manage the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Attend project meetings and provide reports as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong emphasis on designing, constructing, and maintaining complex electrical systems and equipment in the healthcare, institutional building, high-rise building, and aviation sectors.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations.
  • Superior problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
