Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for shaping the system architecture, playing a key role in the implementation and leading a team of talented engineers to success. This role has immense growth potential and the ability to play a key role in the company’s growth. It is for someone who is adept at developing efficient and scalable software solutions and is enthusiastic about working towards a big mission and solving challenging problems with a team of super-smart and driven people. Key Responsibilities: Develop high-quality software design and architecture Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the engineering vision with business objectives and customer needs. Play a leading role in developing and maintaining our platform. Ensure code quality, stability, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and performance tuning. Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting Identify and integrate new technologies and frameworks that align with our technical strategy. Help reinforce a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the engineering team. Qualifications Proven experience as an Engineer At least 3 years of experience in backend development and ideally server-side logic using Node.js to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests Experience with front-end technologies and user-facing elements, ideally using React.js to create dynamic and responsive web applications and Redux to implement state management solutions Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and managing efficient data retrieval and manipulation Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies is a plus.
