The UK&I represents a top 5 global market for JDE and continues to be a growth engine for the category, driving premiumisation by leading the single-serve portion with the Tassimo brand and premiumising the instant coffee segment through Kenco, L'OR and the Douwe Egberts brands.Job DescriptionAs Revenue Growth Manager, you will be part of the Revenue Growth Management team, which forms part of the wider Sales function. Reporting to the Revenue Growth Controller, you will be in a highly visible, and cross functional role tasked with developing JDE's commercial strategies on a 2-4 year horizon.Primarily, the Revenue Growth Management team is responsible for setting and developing profitable revenue and margin growth strategies across the key pillars of RGM - Price Tiers, Pack Price Architecture, Promotion optimisation, Assortment/Mix, and Trade Terms projects.As Revenue Growth Manager you will be responsible for delivering the end to end Revenue Management strategy across a high value segment within the coffee category for JDE. This will involve cross-functional, project focussed working across the relevant UK&I commercial business stakeholders.You will come from a strong commercial background in an fmcg business and understand how to grow brands with customers. You are highly analytical and financial rigour and commercial acumen are strengths. You are ambitious for your future career and have the appetite to be at the heart of the business, influencing strategy and growth.The key responsibilities of the Revenue Growth Manager are:
  • Build highly collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales and Finance Leadership Teams in order to shape, develop and deploy RGM strategies.
  • Develop pipeline of opportunities beyond Core Business AOP, supporting the 5 year Value Creation Plan by achieving/exceeding NOS/KG and GP/KG targets for the UK business.
  • Shape the development and growth of net revenue realisation by translating detailed insights into value creating strategies and guidelines across RGM Pillars including:
  • Develop pricing strategy for designated categories/segments, including JDE's price tiering approach and use of pricing as lever to grow NOS/KG and mitigate potential future cost inflation.
  • Design optimal PPA by brand, by channel within designated category segment(s), collaborate x-functionally to bring to project approval.
  • Develop mix optimisation framework by channel to ensure maximum profitability is being realised
  • Lead the promotion optimisation process and design of annual promotion guidelines by channel, to deliver both AOP and long term VCP commitments
  • Design trade investment terms, customer contract principles and guidelines that deliver against both VCP (long term) and AOP objectives.
  • Become point of best practice expertise on more than 1 RGM pillar to support total team RGM capability development.
  • Champion external focus; lead competitor analysis and insight into key market changes to inform JDE strategy
  • Collaborate with local and global marketing teams on NPD pipeline to ensure consistent delivery against NOS/KG and GP/KG targets.
  • Support, coach and develop other RGM team members and wider business on RGM principles.
QualificationsEducationGraduate calibreExperienceMust haves:
  • Minimum 8 years fmcg commercial experience across at least 2 disciplines from Revenue Growth Management, Customer Management, Brand Management, Category/Insight and Commercial Finance functions.
  • Experience managing complex projects and transformational change experiences.
  • Experience of X-functional project management incl Customer, Marketing, Finance and Supply chain.
  • Proven at developing and executing brand & npd growth strategies in retail.
  • Experience of presenting insight and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Desirables:
  • Demonstrable associate leadership and coaching through line management and/or project leadership an advantage.
  • Experience in commercial finance / FP&A roles beneficial.
  • Good IT skills especially ppt, xls
