This is ideally a full-time role, but the school may consider a job share for two part-time candidates. An immediate start date is preferred if possibleAs a School Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the educational institution. - Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and assist with the enrolment process.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Communication:
- Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and students to address inquiries and provide information.
- Manage the school calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings as needed.
- Support in disseminating information through newsletters and other communication channels.
- Student Support:
- Provide support to students who may visit the reception area, offering assistance or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Proven experience as a school administrator or in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with school management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
