The Sales Director will lead the sales team and drive revenue growth in the highly competitive fitness industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, some understanding of the fitness market (candidates do not have to come from the fitness industry!), and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.Some of the key responsibilities of this exciting fitness job:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Operations: Oversee daily sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely delivery of sales metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall business strategy.
- You must currently be in, or have experience in a similar Sales Director level position - 2 years minimum is required
- People management: we are looking for an exceptional leader and you must have proven track records of coaching and developing high performing sales teams
- ERP/ salesforce experience highly desirable
