Your new role, what's involved?

Manage and coordinate the overall BIM Implementation within the Architecture Discipline team and support the multidisciplinary projects delivery.
Support developing full 3D based digital delivery model for technical architecture scope of work.
Lead establishing library of standard details and production process for the most efficient delivery.
Analyze BIM related client requirements and implement BIM Execution Plan for BIM deliverables production and BIM process management throughout project lifecycle in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary projects BIM Lead.
Lead the implementation of the BIM Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies during design lifecycle.
Take responsibility in planning Architecture discipline project BIM deliverables and managing their effective delivery in accordance with the project plan and BIM Execution Plan.
Leading and/or assist in the creation of BIM deliverables, Clash Detection Processes and Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Design Review Procedures.
Configure and maintain the project Common Data Environment to enable the effective management of Architecture design deliverables.
Managing the projects BIM Coordinator(s) and BIM / CAD technicians including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of models and drawings and other related BIM deliverables.
Coordinate BIM issues with design teams and support the resolution actions and monitor their implementation into the BIM authoring environment.
Manage the Spatial Design Coordination process within Architecture team and ensure the clash avoidance, detection, analysis and mitigation are well reported.
Monitoring and guiding the model utilization, health check and maintenance process for future handing over to Design 3rd parties or construction Team.
Identify and detect in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary projects BIM Lead any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.
Integrate leading edge BIM applications including Scheduling, Cost, Asset Management, and O&M programs into the BIM models.
Reporting the project BIM status to the Project Management team covering but not limited to: BIM Issue Tracker, Audit Reports from Native BIM solutions, Clash Analysis status, progress and completed tasks against upcoming projects submissions.
Assist in the upskilling of existing CAD/BIM, Architecture & Project Management staff.
Act as a key role in the organization’s BIM improvement and upgrade plan
Support the assessment and evaluation of new resources as part of Architecture team expansion plan.
Lead the resource management and tasks assignment within the BIM Authoring and Coordination Team
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated software functionality issues
Support interoperability of BIM authoring and coordination tools with Design Analysis tools as applicable.
Support Automation process and highlight aspects and areas of productivity and quality optimization.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent with proven track record of successfully undertaken BIM responsibilities within Architecture design delivery team.
Minimum of 8 years of experience and background in Design and BIM Management (inclusive but not limited to BIM modeling, Coordination, collaboration, data management, Quality Assurance and Control) on large scale multi-disciplinary projects within the Middle East region.
Knowledge and proven awareness about standard compliant BIM best practices.
Proven ability and leadership skills to lead, monitor and support a team of BIM Coordinators and BIM Modelers as well as supporting Architecture design team members already in use of the BIM authoring solutions.
Mandatory proficiency and Hands-on on Autodesk Revit and other BIM authoring tools such as Rhino.
Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
Mandatory proficiency on BIM360/ACC Environment.
Proficiency on Dynamo scripting tools with background on automation of BIM Authoring and interoperability with Architecture design tools would be of advantage.
Extensive knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650.
Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery and 4D to 7D deliverables at LOD 350.
Proficiency on MS SharePoint and ACONEX platforms would be an added value
Experience working within multi-national working environment would be beneficial.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
High level of creativity and forward thinking with analytical mindset.
Non-hierarchical one team mindset and hands-on attitude is expected.
