  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Environment related role.
  • Knowledge of the relevant Environmental legislation and National Policy relating to environmental protection.
  • Experience in providing assurance to an organisation with a significant Environmental Management System.
  • Practical understanding of ISO14001:2015.
  • Proven track record of effective, self-motivated, and timely task management delivery.
  • Continually seeking ways to improve, adapt and innovate while meeting compliance and commercial requirements.
  • IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ability to learn and use new systems.
  • Current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
  • Diploma, Degree, Masters or equivalent in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Energy, Engineering or Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Relevant sector experience, including utility or construction.
  • Working knowledge of ISO14001:2015.
  • Experience in managing environmental risk, controls and methods to reduce impacts.
  • Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or similar professional body.
