My client provides consulting services to large organisations going through system improvements, implementations, and process transformations. You will be working within a project team and working in a project-based environment.About the role:
This is a great opportunity to move into payroll project work / payroll consulting. We are looking for analytical minded payroll gurus to work on a large project. You will use your past payroll experience and excellent communication and analytical skills to analyse the current state system and processes and advise on errors and areas for improvement. You will be skilled in Microsoft Excel and know how to put a good requirements document together using Microsoft Word.Duties:
- Analyse payroll data and assist with solution development.
- Analyse and interpret payroll and personnel information.
- Interpret employment agreements.
- Testing of processes and systems.
- Extract and correct data files.
- Identify and document process changes, decision documents.
- Good knowledge of payroll procedures and practice.
- Payroll system and payrun experience.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written with proficiency in English.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Good level of IT literacy.
- Willingness to learn new tasks.
- A 'team player' attitude.
